About Us

The founders of Furry Folks™ were born with tongues firmly in cheek. They have shared most of their lives with beloved pets and rescues. And as we all know, familiarity breeds laughter.  Since everyone's fixed, it could hardly breed anything else!

Furry Folks™original designs celebrate the lighter side of a life shared with our beloved companions. They have all been inspired by the pets we know and love.

The founders share their home with a large furmily, most with special needs. They work with a number of rescues and animal organizations.

Mission Statement

(OK, folks, this is as serious as we get...)

At Furry Folks™, we believe that there is not enough kindness or humor in the world. We believe in spreading both. Kindness and humor are antidotes to rage and intolerance. Make someone laugh, and you have made a friend. And blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never lack amusement.

We are also committed to helping the people working toward a world where there are no more homeless pets. They range from small local organizations to large national ones. They are on the front lines every day: rescuing, spaying and neutering, educating, sheltering, lobbying, adopting. Most of them are overburdened and under-funded.

We regularly donate a portion of our proceeds to these unsung heroes. Most of them don’t have the money or resources to ask for your help. Their time and money are spent on rescue, vet bills, feeding and finding homes for the furry folks whose lives depend on them – and on all of us.

The Furry Folks™ line was originally created for shelter and rescue fundraising. However, we have found that our designs are great sellers in many different venues: dog and cat shows, community festivals, retail stores, dog sports, and of course, fundraisers. They are delightfully different, completely original, and in demand with pet lovers everywhere
